Founded in 1980, the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center provides a range of health care services. It offers preventative care, health education, integrated clinical and social services. The center also practices in the areas of family practice, pediatrics, internal medicine and geriatrics. The Greater Lawrence Family Health Center offers nutritional counseling, care coordination and social case management solutions for at-risk women and children. It operates the Merrimack Valley Area Health Education Center, which conducts training programs for health professionals, paraprofessionals and students pursuing health care careers. The Greater Lawrence Family Health Center also manages Lawrence Family Medicine Residency, which is a community health center-based residency program that trains more than 25 medical residents annually.

The Greater Lawrence Family Health Center, also known as GLFHC, offers a range of medical care services. The center administers a HIV education program and provides case management, counseling, testing and community outreach solutions. It also offers outpatient medical care services for homeless individuals. The Greater Lawrence Family Health Center provides asthma self-management education, clinical and social solutions. The center offers a family medicine residency program that serves more than 43,000 patients annually. It conducts hypnosis, acupuncture and group exercise activities. The Greater Lawrence Family Health Center provides maternal and child health care services. It maintains the New Balance Foundation Imaging Center, which offers diagnostic screening and mammography solutions.
