I'd say 4.5 stars actually. We had stopped down the road for food but didn't feel like not being able to study the menu while sitting so got on Yelp and made our way here. Super quiet at 11 or so...

Delicious *really truly* homemade chicken rice soup with veggies! Salad was super fresh too. Ask them to run the model train in a loop around its track - so cute!!

I've had breakfast at the whistle stop several times and the food has always been excellent. It's a restaurant that you might expect in Miller's Falls being a very homie atmosphere.

we waited over an hour for food & ultimately had to take it to go. it was even difficult to pay the bill. no excuse for this.
