AAR Cargo Systems Engineering

AAR Cargo Systems manufactures air cargo handling and logistics systems for military applications worldwide. It provides specialized equipment for virtually every type of fixed and rotary-wing aircraft in operation. It also offers a comprehensive range of in-aircraft cargo handling systems and components, encompassing more than 40 different airframes and hundreds of STCs and PMAs. The company was founded in 1950 as a joint development program for the United States Air Force. The company then known as Brooks & Perkins designed, tested, qualified and produced the world's first roller conveyor/aerial delivery system for the newly introduced Lockheed C-130 transport aircraft. AAR Cargo Systems is headquartered in Livonia, Mich., and is a subsidiary of AAR Corporation, a provider of products and value-added services to the worldwide aerospace/aviation industry.
