Nicole chose a career in outpatient primary care medicine to build long-term relationships with her patients, guiding them through the different stages of their healthcare journey. Inspired daily by her husband and children, Nicole values humility, patience and kindness in both her personal and professional life. Passionate about empowering her patients, she excels at breaking down complex physiology concepts to support informed decision-making. Maureen chose internal medicine as her specialty because she enjoys helping her patients improve their health over the long term and likes having the opportunity to make a positive impact on their life. She has a special interest in supporting patients with chronic diseases and has a managing diabetes. Maureen credits her mom for playing a significant role in her life and was the one who motivated her to pursue a career in healthcare. When she's not working, Maureen takes pleasure in mentoring and guiding physician assistant students, helping them grow into future healthcare providers. Additionally, she has a deep passion for traveling and discovering new parts of the world.

The most important thing to me when it comes to providing quality care is to make sure that every patient is treated with dignity and respect. We all deserve to feel heard. This is why I emphasize good communication with my patients. I want them to ask me questions and be engaged in their care so that together we can reach the best possible outcomes.
