Marisa Leighton chose a career in family medicine so that she could help to improved the health of individuals and communities. She has been influenced by her children and always strives to set a good example for them in how she conducts herself both at home and at work. Marisa looks forward to work each day because of the great team she works with and the reward of helping her patients reach their health goals. She finds a special interested in women;s health, chronic disease prevention and treatment and adolescent healthcare. In her free time, Marisa enjoys volunteers at her children's school. She also likes spending time with her family and friends, traveling and running.

Amy knew since the 9th grade that she wanted to work with children. She thought maybe she would work as a high school biology and chemistry teacher. However, when Amy discovered that nursing was the perfect blend of science, education and helping others, she knew it was the right path. Amy looks forward to coming to work every day to work with the supportive physicians and the close-knit clinical staff. But most of all, Amy loves her patients. She loves to see her young patients grow up and knowing she is impacting their health. Amy looks for education opportunities and is passionate about preventive care and making sure her patients have the resources they need. As a mother of five, Amy spends a lot of her time with her kids.
