The Blue Slipper Tavern got its name from the shape of Portage Lake. It opened in the late 1870s as Hans Hansen's, but shortly after received the name it is today!
Specialties
A historic tavern built in the 1880's, serving cocktails, draft and bottled beer, a variety of wine and local ciders. Appetizer menu available with regular food trucks on the property for additional food choices.

Expected more, used to be a place to get a good meal. Really minimal menu, my son said "I've had better hamburgers at HS football games." I had burned pretzel sticks, not good at all.
Health department really needs to visit this place. I sat out in on the patio where you could see inside the kitchen and it was completely disgusting in there. I think the burger I got had rotten....
