Dr Stokes was inspired to pursue a career in medicine when she heard a surgeon speak about his experience with global medicine. During her training she came to love the field of obstetrics and gynecology because she saw the intersection of medicine with complex social and historical influences. The daily life of an OB/GYN is always different and she loves the variety and new daily challenges. Dr Stokes has a special interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, robotic surgery, menopause and group prenatal care. The biggest impact in Dr Stokes’ life has been learning the different perspectives of communities both locally and abroad. Her time volunteering with communities in Memphis, Tenn. and Savannah, Ga.

Dr Bauer is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care for women of all ages. She loves developing relationships with her patients and serving as a partner in their health. She has been serving the Kalamazoo community since 1997. Dr Bauer is married and has three children whose softball and baseball games she loves to attend. Outside of work she also enjoys stained glass projects, attending art classes and running. Additionally, she volunteers her time to the SPCA and helps with blood donations and diaper drives. I believe in providing the most advanced services available for my patients. I love the relationships that I develop with them and being partners in their care.
