Central Elementary School

Central Elementary School, located in Vassar, Mich., offers classes from grades three through six. The school offers a wide range of educational and extracurricular programs to provide students with the skills, innovative concepts, problem solving abilities, and self-confidence necessary to be responsible members of the society. Its extensive curriculum includes English, science, social studies, mathematics, physical education, and music. The school also provides various sport activities, field trips, choir programs and group activities. The school has a fully equipped library and a media center. It enrolls more than 450 students in Tuscola County, Mich., and is operated by the Vassar Public Schools. The school district is accredited by the Michigan North Central Association.
