HistoryWe were established in 1964 by local barber Joe Nuyen. This was the same year that Hendrick Meijer passed away. Fred Meijer wanted to honor his dad, who was a barber, by having barbershops inside his Meijer stores. At the time Joe wasnt interested in the barbershop inside a grocery store idea. He did change his mind and 50 years later we are still open and expanding. We are still privately owned by local business woman Candaice Leonard.SpecialtiesWe are a team of fun family oriented barbers and stylists who enjoy a good laugh and doing a good haircut.
