The Garret Eye Center maintains a staff of board-certified physicians that offers a variety of eye care services through medical, surgical and optical techniques. The center offers cataract and refractive surgeries, corneal transplantation and laser capsulotomy services. It also performs LASIK, which is a type of refractive laser eye surgery for correcting myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism. The center s physicians are members of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, American Medical Association and Michigan Ophthalmology Society. It is accredited by The Joint Commission, which certifies more than 15,000 health care organizations in the United States. The Garret Eye Center is located in Iron Mountain, Mich.
