Equity Transportation

Since the early 1980s, Equity Transportation has been a trucking company engaged as a contract carrier doing business in the contiguous 48 United States. The company has a pool of drivers operating out of our terminals in Grand Rapids, Mich; Jonesboro, Ark; and Lansing, Mich. Aside from the terminal locations, the company has drivers operating in Chicago and East Greenville, Pa. Equity Transportation operates a fleet of more than 150 tractors with a pool of 500-plus trailers. The company s equipment includes foot-dry vans, foot-drop-deck units and foot-heated drop-deck units. All of its tractors are equipped with satellite systems that allow the company to be in constant contact with its drivers. The company s fleet of trucks is comprised of Kenworth W-900 s, Peterbilt 379's, Kenworth T-800 day-cabs and Volvo VN day-cabs. All of the company s trailers are 100-percent air-ride. The trailers are equipped with logistic posts and have swing doors. The company is headquartered in Grand Rapids, Mich.
