Anthony's son and successor Edward Buresh, operated the firm at two different Detroit locations Greenfield Avenue near Fenkell and Puritan at Schaefer. Edwards successor Edward G. Buresh, Jr. operated the Puritan location until 1970 when he moved the family business to Oscoda, MI. The tradition continues as the next generation, Edward G. Buresh, III and Matthew W. Buresh both Oscoda High School and Michigan State University graduates carry on the succession of the Buresh-Bennett Funeral Home operations.
