Alexandra Harris entered healthcare because of her interest in caring for people. She chose gastroenterology because of a connection she has with some of the disorders, providing care with a personal, more unique connection. She credits her parents for their tireless work ethic and for encouraging her to further her education. She enjoys meeting people and the opportunity her position affords her to help her patients with their healthcare needs. In her free time, Alexandra enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, gardening and hiking. She also likes to travel whenever she gets the opportunity. I went into healthcare because I wanted to care for people.

Courtney chose a career as a nurse practitioner because it gave her a chance to assist patients in preventing and managing illness and disease. She developed a passion for gastroenterology while working in an endoscopy lab. Courtney also has special interests in hepatology and nutritional health. Courtney credits a 10th grade teacher, Ms. Crawford, for believing in her, challenging her to think outside the box and helping her to envision the future she is living today. Ms. Crawford encouraged Courtney to continue her education and to never stop learning. Courtney is motivated each day by the opportunity to help improve the lives of her patients.
