Hella North America, located in Plymouth, Mich., manufactures lighting and electronic systems for the automotive industry. The Plymouth facility provides design, engineering, testing and manufacturing capabilities to nearly every automobile manufacturer in the United States. It manufactures lights, sensors and other parts for Ford, DaimlerChrysler, and General Motors, among other North American auto producers. The company also designs and distributes aftermarket parts and electronics.
