Houghton's North Sky Resort is located on the Southwest side beautiful Houghton Lake (not to be confused with Houghton, Michigan which is in the Upper Peninsula). We are a brand new resort as of 2021! Our resort consists of five cottages located on the south shore of Houghton Lake. Houghton Lake is the largest inland lake in Michigan, and has been referred to as the Fish Factory of Michigan. We are open year round! Enjoy fishing, water & winter sports, swimming off the 100 ft of sandy beach and lounging in the sun. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets! A great destination for family vacation or a weekend get away.

We booked on a whim 4 years ago and have been coming back ever since. It's the perfect place to just relax and enjoy our family. We can't wait for our trip this summer.

This place is a little slice of paradise. Everything was truly wonderful. Nicki & Chuck made sure we had everything we needed and really made us feel at home and part of the family this weekend....

We had a super comfortable and enjoyable stay here. Nicki was so pleasant and accommodating, and you can't beat the location and lake views. We are coming back again next year for sure!
