Jen Casey, NP-C

Andrew anderson was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula and graduated from Gladstone Area High School in 2008. He obtained a Bache of Science in Nursing from Northern Michigan University in 2013. In 2020, he obtained a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Walden University specializing in Family Care. His previous career experience includes working in the hospital setting, emergency department and has held supervision roles.

Janet Pratt graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lake Superior State University. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner Specialty from Northern Michigan University. Janet developed a passion for mental health and recognized the need in the Upper Peninsula for advanced practitioners in this field. She pursued and completed a Post-Master’s degree in Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Specialty from the University of South Alabama. Her practice focuses on adult clients with concerns such as: depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.

Travis Fairbanks grew up in Gladstone, Michigan and is proud to call himself a Yooper who appreciates and serves the U.P. community through healthcare. He spent 10+ years as an ICU nurse. Upon earning his DNP degree from Northern Michigan University, he was eager to remain in Upper Michigan in a new and challenging rural role. He is excited to start his new hybrid position helping people in both primary and urgent care settings. Primary care allows Travis to dive deep into educating and assisting patients while they work to achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Urgent care provides an opportunity to address a patient’s immediate concerns. There is always something new to learn and advancing ways to help others be successful in their healthcare needs and goals. As a medical care provider, Travis finds it compelling how individualized care needs are for each person whom he treats. Approaching each patient with respect, compassion and a listening ear toward what they are going through is of utmost importance to him. In his former role, he saw the sickest of people at their worst in condition. In this new position, he collaborates with patients to get ahead of potential future problems and finds this uplifting and meaningful. In his free time, Travis likes to explore and photograph forests, waterfalls, lakes, sunsets, beaches, and trails less traveled. The nature up here is unparalleled and experiencing the activities and adventures of each season offers him a variety of adventures, climates, and landscapes. He loves spending time with his family and enjoys the energy and laughter that come with having two Corgis! He and his wife love to travel and explore new cultures and countries too. Travis also confesses to having a big interest in video gaming.
