About Kubin's Furniture and Mattresses Kubin's Furniture & Mattresses is located in a historic corner building on highway M-46 in St. Louis, Michigan. When in the Mid-Michigan area it is worth a visit to see one of Michigan's most unique furniture and gift shops for yourself! The store was founded in 1978 by George Kubin as a sleep shop. It is now owned by George and Winnie Kubin. The Kubins want their store to stand out from other furniture stores. Finishing touches, such as an extensive collection of art work, decorative accessories, and silk flowers designed exclusively by Winnie, make the store inviting for each of our guests.
