The Lillian Anderson Arboretum is a 140-acre private facility owned by Kalamazoo College, dedicated to preserving the natural qualities of the Arboretum. It consists of marsh, meadow, pine plantation, and second-growth deciduous forest in Oshtemo Township, Kalamazoo County, Michigan.
Originally donated by a Kalamazoo College graduate, Lillian Anderson, in 1982, the Arboretum expanded in 2000 with the addition of 31 acres of land. Established in 1998, it serves as a valuable resource for the Kalamazoo College community, local residents, and visitors, offering research opportunities and a variety of trails to explore.

Just a head's up ... They are repaving the lot so if you want to hike here this August, park at the library or the disc golf course and enter the trails from that side!
