The Pickford Area Historical Society, established in 1976, is dedicated to preserving the rich history of Pickford, Michigan. With a commitment to safeguarding artifacts and stories, the Society re-organized in 2000 and embarked on the development of a museum to showcase its growing collection.
Located in the historic Harrison Hardware building, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2012, the museum features various exhibits and a hands-on children's section. It welcomes up to 1,200 visitors each summer, all supported by a dedicated group of volunteers.
