Heritage School serves more than 800 students in grades five and six. Its creative arts course provides exploratory activities in vocal music, drama and visual arts. Its music department offers electives in band, orchestra and choir. It also offers extracurricular music groups, such as fiddle club and jazz band. The school s parent-teacher organization sponsors several events, including book fairs, math nights, talent shows, science fairs, writer's magazines and annual celebrations. Its food department offers meals that include yoghurt, milk, juices, breads, salads, vegetables, cereals and pizzas. Additionally, the school operates a media center that offers newspapers, magazines, book reviews and an online database. Heritage School is located in Saline, Mich.
