Dr Walker loves coming to work and not knowing what to expect. Being an obstetrics and gynecology doctor means she might be performing a challenging surgery one day and being a part of the amazing moment of new birth the next day. Dr Walker also works with patients on infertility and family planning, managing menopause, and pediatric and adolescent gynecology. Additionally, she is able to perform minimally invasive surgeries. In her free time, Dr Walker volunteers at a variety of community activities in and around Kalamazoo and through her church. She loves traveling and spending time outside, especially in or on water, as well as enjoying good music and good movies.

Megan Danielson, DNP, CNM
For Megan, midwifery is her calling. She became a midwife to educate and empower women to take control of their well-being. Supporting women through all of life’s transitions is a fulfilling, humbling and fun job for her. She gets excited to go to work each day as she thinks about the women she will meet and the relationships she will build. Megan is particularly interested in promoting physiologic birth—which tends to be both safer and healthier—and is passionate about working to reduce disparities in maternity care. She speaks Spanish and is committed to improving migrant farmworker health.
Internal medicine practitioners
Teresa Ansinn, DNP, AGNP-C
Teresa believes that each patient she works with is a new opportunity to make a positive change in someone’s life. She has special interests in mental health and wellness. Teresa was first introduced to a career in healthcare when her mother encouraged her to do nurses aid training, which led to bedside nursing. She learned the significance of primary care from her clinical preceptor. Overall, her parents have been the biggest influences in her life. They taught her common sense and a sense of urgency. When Teresa isn’t working, she loves to spend time with her family and volunteering at her children’s schools.
