I have always felt that medicine was my calling. It started at a young age when my father, a physician himself, let me work in his office. I chose internal medicine because I enjoy long term relationships with patients and helping them stay healthy. I enjoy knowing there will be challenges and problems to solve within health, it pushes me to continue to learn more every day. Within healthcare, I have special interests in obesity management and type II diabetes due to their advancements in the past few years. When I have free time I enjoy spending time with family and gardening in my yard. My goal is to provide compassionate, caring, evidence and guideline-based care to my patients when faced with a complex health situation.
