SAY Detroit Play Center

Lipke Center, located in Detroit, MI, has been revitalizing and empowering one of the city's most-challenged and underserved neighborhoods since 2015. Through their premier training center, the SAY Detroit Play Center at Lipke Park, they are changing the game for young Detroiters by providing top-notch academic, athletic, and arts programs in partnership with Detroit's major sports teams.

With state-of-the-art sports facilities, a 7,000 sq. foot digital learning and enrichment center, and transportation provided from participating schools, Lipke Center offers a comprehensive and supportive environment for students aged 8 to 18. Their commitment to developing great readers and great people is evident through their after-school program, which includes at least an hour of study before engaging in other activities, as well as opportunities for competitive robotics teams and access to a recording studio. As an initiative of SAY Detroit, a 501(c)(3) charity, Lipke Center is dedicated to providing pathways to success for Detroiters in need.
