The Tasty Nut Shop in White Pigeon, Michigan, with its widespread fame for the variety and quality of its roasted nuts has been a White Pigeon landmark for over 90 years.Stepping into the Tasty Nut Shop & Soda Bar is like stepping back in time. This quaint shop offers a little taste of history with its selection of fresh roasted nuts, candy, chocolates, and sodas. Coca Cola collectibles and and old-fashioned soda fountain add to the atmosphere.The shop was opened in 1920 as the David Hotchin Drug Store owned by John Davis and his brother-in-law. In the middle 1920's one of the workers began roasting pecans, at the request of the owners, and the roasted nuts became a big hit. Since then there have been many owners, each adding their own special treats.
