Started in 1929, Knappen Milling Company is a flour and wheat processing facility. Located at Augusta, Mich., the firm provides a wide variety of wheat and wheat products to the cereal, snack food as well as other wheat based industries. Its range of flour products include satin white, arbutus, augusta HA and graham. In addition to heavy and gage bran, the company offers flaked, cut and Sotac wheat products. Knappen Milling Company's flours are used in the preparation of delicacies, such as cookies, muffins, pastries, pretzels, cereals, crackers and batters.
