Thomas Geigert, FNP

As a certified nurse-midwife, I see my primary role as listening to and partnering with women and their families. This takes place across a woman's lifespan whether they are pregnant, giving birth, postpartum, seeking well-women care, interested in family planning, or coming in with concerns about their health. I am excited to get to know you and your family while providing excellent care and valuable information to improve your life experience. My passion for helping others isn’t just within the hospital, I volunteer within the Kalamazoo Public Schools and host various blanket making events for hospitalized children. During my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, hiking and visiting Lake Michigan.

Kim believes in treating the whole person, mind, body and spirit together. She finds it important to give every patient credible information so they can make the best decision for themselves. Outside of work, Kim enjoys golfing, cycling, hiking and reading. She can also be found at different events around the community. I believe in treating the whole person, mind, body and spirit. I think it is important to use a range of options and strategies to achieve optimal health for women, while still understanding possible barriers is essential.

Catherine has always loved working with children and their families to help them be as happy and healthy as possible. Growing up, Catherine’s father emphasized being kind to everyone and to have a strong work ethic. Prior to going to nursing school, Catherine was a neonatal and pediatric respiratory therapist and an RN in a pediatric intensive care unit, which paved the way for her to become a pediatric nurse practitioner. One of her favorite things about coming to work every day is to meet newborns on their birthday! Outside of work, Catherine volunteers at a local elementary school’s reading program and the Kent County Humane Society.
