West Michigan Community Mental Health

Community Mental Health Services, located in Muskegon, Mich., is a public provider of services for people with developmental disabilities and serious mental illness. It provides service under a managed care contract with the state of Michigan, Department of Community Health. Its programs and activities are governed by a board of directors and its services are available to residents of the community who have Medicaid or are uninsured, and are eligible for services as defined by the Michigan Mental Health Code. Community Mental Health Services provides various services, such as speech, hearing and language therapies, medication administration, physical and occupational therapies, crisis intervention, and psychological rehabilitation.

The Montcalm Center for Behavioral Health is a community mental health authority serving Montcalm County, Michigan. We provide services and supports for people with serious and persistent mental illness, developmental disabilities, and children with severe emotional disturbances. In addition, we provide emergency services to anyone in the community, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
