The Woodbury City Administration Department in Minnesota is responsible for human resources activities, labor relations, elections, communications, recycling and general government administration. It supervises and coordinates the activities of various other departments. It handles citizen inquiries and requests, implements policies of the city council and enforces all ordinances. It also prepares the annual budget, agenda and materials for the city council on policy matters. Additionally, the department coordinates preparation and review of Woodbury's performance measurement program that provides data to the council, citizens and the staff regarding the achievements of city programs and services. Its program also dovetails with the council's strategic plans by monitoring conditions in the community in various areas, including safety, positive economy, education, community, city services and natural environment.
