Park View Care Center is a more than 120-bed skilled nursing facility for senior citizens, located in Buffalo, Minn. It is a part of Elim Care, a group that specializes in housing and health care for the elderly. It provides professional rehabilitative and long-term care to a community of mature adults where they can receive assistance with the activities of daily living. The goal is to enable seniors to maintain an active, independent lifestyle. Supportive services include assistance with daily personal care, reminders to take medications, and physical, occupational and speech therapies to improve independence and abilities. Patients with dementia diagnosis have special and needs that are met in activity programs developed specifically for them, and are cared for by staff specifically trained to care for these special needs residents. Park View Care Center also contracts with hospice agencies to provide terminally ill residents with additional support, including supervising pain management and comfort care.
