Lutheran Retirement Home, located in Truman, Minn., is more than 90-bed, Medicaid- and Medicare-certified facility operated by the Lutheran Senior Living Center. It is affiliated with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. Lutheran Retirement Home is a nonprofit corporation and provides skilled nursing services. It specializes in providing health care services for senior adults and provides physical, occupational and speech therapies. It employs certified nurses and nursing assistants who provide personalized care and medical services to residents. Additionally, it provides assisted living options through single and double rooms and special family rooms equipped with various amenities, such as refrigerators, microwaves and televisions. It also encourages its residents to attend resident council groups. The family council of the retirement home provides support and educational services to residents. It also offers a support group for families and friends of residents suffering from Alzheimer's disease and related disorders.
