Established in 1986, RESOURCE, is a nonprofit organization that operates employment agencies, rehabilitation and recovery centers, and mental health clinics throughout Minnesota. It provides staffing and recruitment solutions for people with physical disabilities, and offers temporary employment opportunities for employees in career transition. The recovery programs offered by the organization include case management, family counseling, relapse prevention, career planning, vocational training, transitional and long-term housing, and acupuncture services. The organization operates child development and mental health clinics that provide medical assistance and health care services, and organizes workshops and support groups for anger management and chemical dependency. It also operates the Midwest Institute for Telecommuting Education that offers training and consultation services for companies and organizations recruiting employees with disabilities.
