History

Since the 80s, owner Melanie had the dream of opening a coffee shop. Not any ordinary coffee shop, but one with a mission to mentor urban youth with coffee so the community can thrive. Mocha Momma's opened in May of 2022 in Downtown Minneapolis.

Staff had the doors locked 35 minutes before closing with "be back soon" sign in the window. They were standing right inside and obviously trying to just close early.
