The Minnesota State Patrol serves current and future roadway users and assists law enforcement agencies. It serves dignitaries, state government and other service organizations. The Minnesota State Patrol provides flight section, executive protection and capitol security, auto theft prevention, safety education, commercial vehicle enforcement and training services. Its special response team provides special services during special events, protests, and search and rescue missions. The Minnesota State Patrol is comprised of 11 patrol districts and has more than 800 employees. It maintains a location in St. Paul.
