Pioneer Senior Cottages

Pioneer Retirement Community is a member of Minnesota Health & Housing Alliance. Established in 1985, the community offers a range of day care programs for senior citizens and their families. Its care center provides skilled nursing care and restorative therapy services, as well as a variety of recreational activities that meet the emotional, physical, cognitive, spiritual, and intellectual needs of residents. Located in Fergus Falls, Minn., Pioneer Retirement Community operates a more than 45-apartment building. The community also maintains cottages for older people with demential disorders. It additionally serves as a teaching facility and provides training to nursing students in registered, licensed and certified programs. Pioneer Retirement Community also has a volunteer group that offers assistance with fundraising, transportation and recreational activities.
