Gordon and Barbara Swanson established nursery in 1952 as Phalen Park Landscaping. The Swanson's retired from the business in 1990, and with great fortune their son Richard is now the owner. The core of Green Value Nursery's business is a wholesale container nursery, growing woody ornamentals, conifers, ornamental grasses and perennials for landscapers, garden centers and others throughout the Midwest area. We believe there is only one standard to measure our business against. It is excellence. We are dedicated to providing this through our products, our personnel and our services.
