Northfield Middle School is a coeducational school that serves students in grades six through eight and offers a variety of extracurricular activities. Its academic curriculum includes science, English, French, social studies, Spanish German, mathematics and physical education. The middle school offers various student organizations and clubs, including student council, school newspaper, speech and chess clubs, yearbook, choir and jazz band. It provides a wide variety of facilities, such as a media center, transportation, computer laboratory, playing fields, fitness center and cafeteria. The middle school offers a variety of athletic activities, such as track, tennis, basketball, football, soccer, volleyball and wrestling. Its fitness center has cardiovascular equipment, including stationary and recumbent bikes, elliptical machines, treadmills and weight training machines with life fitness equipment. Located in Northfield, Minn., the middle school is operated by Northfield Public Schools.

Bridgewater Elementary School, located in an area of more than 85,000 square feet, serves over 600 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school provides educational classes in various subjects that include reading, writing, math, science, music, art and social skills. Additionally, Bridgewater Elementary School offers classes in physical education and computer applications. The elementary school has a parent-teacher organization that works with students, their families and the community to expand the educational opportunities for the students. The school s staff includes a psychologist, nurse, social worker, reading specialists, special education teachers, custodians, educational assistants and food service workers. The elementary school is a part of the Northfield School District I.S.D. 659 and is located in Northfield, Minn.
