St. Dominic Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) is poised to answer this increasing demand, as the number of procedures appropriate for the outpatient setting continues to grow. At a time when all providers are seeking a method of delivering quality care to patients while managing costs, St. Dominic ASC stands out as a leader in this marketplace. Physicians and St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital joined together to open St. Dominic ASC in 1999 to provide personal attention and quality services to their patients in and around Hinds County. The Center maintains a nursing staff with extensive hospital operating room and pre-post op experience Four fully equipped operating rooms and three procedure rooms are the focus of the 14, 943 square foot facility featuring the most current advances in medical technology. The Surgery Center serves the specialties of Anesthesiology/Pain Management, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Oral Surgery, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology (ear, nose, and throat), Plastic Surgery and Urology. St. Dominic ASC is a state licensed and Medicare approved facility, affiliated with most major HMOs and PPO's and is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc (AAAHC).
