She began her nursing career on a med-surg ward for a little over one year before transferring to the emergency department for 6 additional years after that. She then returned to college for her Bachelor's in Nursing at the University of South Alabama before going on to complete a Master's in Nursing for an Adult & Gerontology Nurse Practitioner certification in Primary Care in 2013 at USA, and began practicing on the MS Gulf Coast immediately on completion. After a little real world experience, she sought out and completed a Post-Master's program for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification at the University of Pennsylvania.

Lee was born and raised in the city of New Orleans, and his career has been as wide and varied as the city he came from. Beginning early in life as a diesel mechanic, he worked in this occupation for many years before being called in to healthcare initially by attending LSU. He then started out as an Occupational Therapist and gained 16 years of solid knowledge in that field. However, his trajectory changed once more, and he slowly worked his way through the healthcare ranks. He became a Paramedic, and then later graduated as a Registered Nurse. After a few years of nursing practice, he then returned to college at Belmont University in TN for his RN-MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
