In operation for more than 30 years, Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has served individuals throughout the Pine Belt, Miss. It provides community-based behavioral health care services to the community. The center strives to enable adults with serious mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances and individuals with an addiction or developmental disability to live, work, learn and participate fully in their communities. Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources offers services to a population of over 295,000 residents and operates various facilities throughout the state, including Waynesboro, Miss. It has a critical incident stress management team that is a trained multidisciplinary team and offers services during the times of crises.
