The center s support services feature dentistry, ophthalmology, exercises and aphasia group meetings. Barnes-Jewish Extended Care serves individuals of all ages. It also offers a range of hospice and respite care services. The center operates an over 50-bed rehabilitation unit that provides orthopedic, acute care, continuing treatment and post-trauma rehabilitative services. Barnes-Jewish Extended Care organizes various trips and entertaining and social activities for the physical, mental and social stimulation of individuals. The center also provides restaurant-style dining in its main dining room. Its facilities include a library, chapel, gift shop, and living and sitting rooms.
