Christina Daniel, MD

Kate Appleton, MD, is a fellowship-trained breast radiologist. She completed a seven-year combined BS/MD program at the University of Florida where she earned her medical degree with research honors. She completed her diagnostic radiology residency and breast imaging fellowship at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.Practicing since 2006 as a board-certified radiologist, Dr. Appleton has special interests in breast cancer screening/diagnosis and image-guided interventional breast procedures/biopsies. She has published more than 25 peer-reviewed articles, a breast imaging book, and is a contributing author in "A Women's Decision," a guidebook for patients facing breast cancer.

Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehab, located on the campus at SSM Health St. Clare in Fenton in the St. Francis Building, provides comprehensive care to individuals with heart and lung conditions. The program supports and monitors your path to wellness through a safe and personalized fitness program. Patients are encouraged to park outside in Lot G and enter through the St. Francis Building, take the elevators to the garden level and look for the Cardiac Rehab sign across from SSM Health Breast Care. It is encouraged for patients to call to schedule an appointment.
