HistoryDance Kansas City started in 2011, but I've been teaching dance and coaching people since 1991 and I've owned my own business since 1995. Lessons are taught out of the wonderful new studio, Freebox Movement Arts in the Crossroads Arts District.SpecialtiesBallroom, Swing, Salsa, Tango and Freestyle dance for singles and couples and Wedding dance preparation. Our instructors are the most experienced and well trained in Kansas City. We help people learn to dance well while having fun. We not only teach you the steps and techniques but will help you express yourself and understand your body in new and meaningful ways. We offer private instruction and small, group classes that are more intimate than other studios so we can give you more attention. We also offer private groups for your and your friends and family - wedding parties, dinner and dance parties and more. Call us for more information. We work with singles and with couples. We love working working with couples as they work toward the common goal of learning to dance well together. It's an awesome way to add spark and strengthen relationships.
