Established in 1985, Cox South is a full-service health care facility. It features an intensive care unit, clinical laboratory, and surgery, trauma and medical imaging centers. The hospital also has a gift shop, cafeteria, beauty salon, library and chapel. Located in Springfield, Mo., the hospital is a part of CoxHealth, which is a health care organization that operates more than 50 clinics and hospitals throughout Missouri.
