I practice general obstetrics and gynecology and truly love my job. Who else gets to be intimately involved during so many life transitions - adolescence and puberty, young adulthood, and menopause; not to mention the miracle of pregnancy and birth. My goal is to educate my patients so they are prepared and at ease during each of these transitions. I enjoy getting to know my patients on a personal level, as they return year after year. In doing so, care is individualized and we can form a partnership in health decision-making.

I realized with OBGYN there was so much diversity in it. You have primary care where you're seeing patients year-in and year-out. You have surgery with gynecologic surgery, hysterectomies, ablations and all kinds of other things. You have obstetrics where you're caring for a pregnant mom, deliveries, and postpartum care and that diversity is what drew me to the field.
