Hancock High School

Ellisville Elementary School has an annual enrollment of more than 600 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school has a library media center that allows students to utilize resources for research purposes and for completing assignments. Its core curriculum includes reading, creative writing, art, health, physical education, instrumental and vocal music, math, science and social studies. Rockwood School District is recognized by the Missouri State Department of Education and serves more than 22,000 students in kindergarten through grade 12.

Established in 1963, Garrett Elementary School is located in Hazelwood, Mo. The school provides academic and social education to more than 350 students from kindergarten through grade six. It has a parent-teacher association that provides financial support to the school through various fundraising events and stimulates parents to participate in school activities. The school has a library that provides access to information and resources that are relevant to teachers' and students' educational and professional development needs. It offers a range of academic subjects, such as reading, spelling and vocabulary, science, math, speech, social studies and physical education. Garrett Elementary School is operated by the Hazelwood School District, which also operates various other elementary, middle and high schools.

Hillsboro High School serves students in grades 9 through 12. Its educational programs include instruction in science, English, mathematics and social studies. The school also offers foreign language, music, acting and physical education classes. Hillsboro High School provides career-oriented courses in the areas of art and communication, business studies, management, technology education, natural resources, and health and human services. Its athletic activities include football, basketball, soccer, wrestling, golf and tennis. The school operates a student council, academic team, and speech, drama and Spanish clubs. It additionally offers membership opportunities in the National Honor Society. Hillsboro High School features a library that maintains a collection of more than 16,000 books. It is governed by the Hillsboro R-3 School District.
