HistoryIn 1941, the family owned business of W.T. Hedges, Sr., Walter P. Hedges and Billy Jr. Hedges, owned funeral homes in Iberia, Crocker, Waynesville, Stoutland, Richland and Meta. The Camdenton funeral home was established in 1954 and was managed by W.T. Hedges, Sr. and wife, Mary I. Hedges. Upon the death of W.T. Hedges, Sr. in 1960, Walter P. and Norma J. Hedges moved to Camdenton to run the family owned business. They later added Macks Creek and Osage Beach funeral homes to their Lake of the Ozarks locations. Tim Scott, a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1980, began managing the funeral homes in 1996. In 2007, he and his wife, Joy, purchased the business from Walter and Norma.
