One of the main reasons I was interested in gastroenterology is because of how greatly it affects your whole GI tract. It plays a big difference in a lot of aspects of your life and it can lead to a lot of other chronic diseases. Realizing the importance of your GI tract is essential to optimizing your overall health.

I think the most important thing about myself and our clinic is that I think we really care about our patients. Patients aren't just x-rays - you really need to know what they do for a living, what they enjoy doing outside of work, and then you tailor your treatment to what's best for them.

From the very beginning, I knew I wanted to take care of people. My parents started out getting me the stethoscope tools, and I just knew I wanted to make people feel better. That's my whole goal - leaving this room, I hope I can at least alleviate some of your concerns or questions. If I can't make that pain go away, I can at least help you figure out what we can do about it.
