Michael Makary, MD - Saint Luke's Pulmonary Specialists

Michael Makary, MD, is a fellowship-trained pulmonary and critical care physician with Saint Lukes Pulmonary Specialists. Dr Makary specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, and lung cancer. He performs various pulmonary procedures, including endobronchial ultrasound and navigational bronchoscopy. He is committed to excellent patient care and values building strong patient relationships.Dr Makary is active with his church and is an avid sports fan. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, playing sports, and long-distance running. While in college, he completed and won first place in the University of Alabama at Birmingham short course triathlon.
