Northwest Missouri State University

Established in 1905, Northwest Missouri State University is a learning institution that provides a range of undergraduate and graduate degree programs for more than 7,000 students. It operates the Booth College of Business and Professional Studies, College of Arts and Sciences, and College of Education and Human Services. The university offers academic programs and courses in chemistry, physics, English, math, international study, mass communication, agriculture and marketing. Northwest Missouri State University also has business, education and geography departments. It provides the Specialist in Education program. The university additionally maintains a graduate student advisory council and wellness center. Northwest Missouri State University organizes programs in choir. It also conducts volleyball, basketball, soccer and tennis tournaments. The university has booster and cub clubs. Northwest Missouri State University is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education.
