Equine Medical Associates was founded in 1973 by Dr Thomas G Loafmann. In 1984 we started seeing horses on the Illinois side of t he river. Our hospital, located in beautiful Wildwood, Missouri was first opened in 1991. In 2013, we opened a satellite clinic for haul-in services located in Troy, Illinois. Many of our clients have been with us for decade and our staff is a close-knit family. EMA has a rich history is this area working with horses at all levels from pets to competition animals in St Louis for over 40 years.
